Christy Potter
Secretary
Christy started pole in 2016 with friends to socialise, stay fit and be creative. She then began Aerial Hoop in 2021 and slowly expanded to other circus apparatuses, now including ground acts such as fire twirling. She’s interested in how cross-disciplinary movement patterns can be translated across apparatuses.
Christy was introduced to IPSF Pole and Aerial Sports in 2023. She’s competed in Aerial Lyra Sports solo and doubles with the ASPF and Bend the Air. She’s a budding performer, completing ambience gigs in Hammocks.
Christy holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) / Bachelor of Business (Human Resources) and is passionate about improving the Federation’s Corporate Governance. This governance push will help see the pole and aerial sports recognised nationally officially and introduced into the Olympic Games. Christy has over a decade of event management experience and is excited to apply her knowledge to the sports industry.

Suvarna was introduced to IPSF Pole and Aerial Sports in late 2020, and found Pole/Aerial Sports and Artistic Pole/Aerial Hoop a perfect fit for her love of codes and passion for storytelling.
